Dragon Professional Anywhere
Dragon Professional Anywhere offers a lightweight versatile solution with heavyweight performance, providing the same 99% levels of speech recognition accuracy.
Hosted in the cloud and licenced via a subscription, this is a new way of accessing the technology. The upfront subscription cost is calculated on a pay-monthly basis meaning the pricing is extremely competitive.
What’s more, is that organisations wishing to purchase the speech recognition software will not have to meet specific IT requirements as is the case with previous versions of Dragon.
The cloud-hosted incarnations of Dragon do not need such high resources as their desktop-based counterparts.
Dragon Legal Anywhere
This specialist legal version of Dragon is also available through the G-Cloud framework. It has the same cloud flexibility as Dragon Professional Anywhere and of course excellent accuracy.
What sets it aside from its sister version, is the dedicated legal vocabulary designed to make legal terminology easy to dictate. On top of that, Dragon Legal Anywhere also understands French and Latin terms and has an OSCALA reference guide.
The standard upfront annual subscription for this version is offered at a discounted rate through G-Cloud
Dragon Medical One
Much like Dragon Professional Anywhere, Dragon Medical One users can also enjoy subscription licencing and cloud hosting.
However, Dragon Medical One has an in-built medical vocabulary and is compatible with clinical systems such as EMIS and TPP SystmOne.
With this software, clinicians can be in control of creating their patient documentation from referrals to prescriptions, and letters and updating their electronic patient record systems.
Philips SpeechLive
SpeechLive links professionals with their secretaries/admin colleagues for quick and easy document creation. As a hybrid dictation solution, users can access two sides of the software:
- Classic transcription: Dictate with a voice recorder or the SpeechLive mobile app to capture your notes. Send them securely through the platform directly to your allocated typist. Receive confirmation of the job status as your colleague processes it.
- Speech recognition: Speak into a microphone or headset and watch your words appear on the computer screen as you say them. Send directly to the recipient or to your typist for proofreading and distribution. As easy as that!
