Say goodbye to the initial enrolment from previous versions, Dragon Professional Anywhere simply requires the speaking of just a 30-second sentence in order for a user to be set up.

During this time, the software adapts to each user’s individual accent and voice pattern during the 30-second recording and throughout general use thereafter.

On top of this, VoicePower’s trainers will provide training on the use of the software and incorporate it into the firm’s workflow.

Dragon Professional Anywhere also includes a brand new function – Dragon Analytics, in which the users can be monitored. As shown below, the software observes the Active Users, Hours of Audio and Peak Usage.

Ultimately, by highlighting the usage patterns of Dragon, organisations will be able to witness and monitor the productivity and effectiveness of the software and its users.

The technical bit

Please disregard this section if you are eligible for the cloud-hosted version of Dragon Professional Anywhere, this is only relevant to the on-premise version.

In order for the software to function, the system on which you intend to install it must meet the following requirements:

• 32-bit: Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
• 64-bit: Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (or higher)
• Processor speed: Minimum: 1.7 Ghz, Recommended: 2.8 – RAM: Minimum: 512 MB, Recommended: 2 GB
• Web Browsers: IE 11+ or Chrome v65+

Please note: Dragon Professional Anywhere is not compatible with Mac computers, only Windows PC’s. There is a workaround using Parallels software which must be used at your own discretion as it is not completely supported by Nuance.
