SpeechLive Dictation Trial Options
Option 1: Author trial
If you are the person needing to create the documentation then the Author license is the correct SpeechLive trial for you. You will have unrestricted use of the platform and its various options:
- Classic transcription. You can dictate using a dictaphone, headset or the SpeechLive mobile app ready for your secretary to transcribe.
- Automatic transcription. Dictate as normal but use the back-end speech recognition engine to generate your document automatically – no transcribe license is needed.
- Speech recognition. Enjoy 200 free speech recognition minutes to dictate at your computer and watch the words appear as you say them.

Option 2: Typist trial
This SpeechLive typist trial license is needed if you are a secretary/admin staff member. You will receive typing jobs from your colleague (the author) and process them using the handy toolbar.
The platform will notify you as jobs come through and your colleagues can categorise them as urgent/standard to make your job as easy as possible.
