Philips SpeechLive is a hybrid dictation and speech recognition workflow solution that makes going from your voice to a written document quicker and more convenient than ever before.
Access your files via a web browser anywhere, any time. Downloading additional software is not necessary but the software does integrate with Philips SpeechExec software.
You can upload, play and download dictation files, send them to your assistant or have them transcribed using speech recognition software or transcription service.

Access and manage your dictations through your browser from anywhere. Transcription from home is also no longer a problem, as you can safely use your private computer to playback and transcribe recordings.

NEW – Flexible Assignment
As of November 2021, users can enjoy the new flexible assignment feature that allows account managers to link typists as well as ‘teams’ of typists to different authors. After creating and linking teams to an author you can reassign specific dictations to a team or typist, allowing flexible assignment of dictations.

Real-time speech recognition!
Philips is introducing a new desktop app for SpeechLive which will include new speech-to-text functionality. Customers can use speech recognition freely in any third-party application with a text field, i.e. Microsoft
Improved SpeechLive App
As well as the app having been re-designed and easier to use, it also allows for the real-time speech recognition that we mentioned above and the automated speech recognition option too.
Increased flexibility with minutes
Philips is moving away from a “per minute” cost model for their speech recognition. Advanced Business Package subscribers now have the option to purchase an additional speech-to-text package and benefit from unlimited speech recognition (both real-time and automated).
Shortened trial period
After liaising with existing clients and prospects, Philips has received feedback that 14 days is the optimal time for users to familiarise themselves with the solution. Therefore, the trial period will be reduced from 30 days to 14 days.
Highest level of security – Make sure what you send is secure
E-mail messages can be attacked by hackers, due to unencrypted data being sent via an unencrypted connection.
Other cloud storages which are not dedicated to dictation typically only use simple encryption during file upload, but do not encrypt files when stored.
SpeechLive offers double encryption by using the highly secure and industry-standard HTTPS protocol. Additionally, the highest safety standards are guaranteed by always up-to-date security certificates.
Flexible working – transcribe from anywhere
Philips SpeechLive offers a flexible working environment. If your assistant cannot come into the office one day, they can easily transcribe documents from home by using their private computer.
There is no need to download any additional software, all they have to do is to log into their SpeechLive account.
SpeechLive allows your assistants to access the file list and playback the recordings via the web player in their browser, regardless of where they are.

If you do not have your own typist or if you’d like an optional overflow service you can send your digital files securely for typing by industry-specific trained professionals.
They will accurately transcribe your recordings and send the finished document straight to your inbox for review.
Use cloud-based speech recognition
You may wish to have the option of converting your digital dictation into text using speech recognition software. The speech recognition service allows you to get more work done, in less time.
Simply dictate your notes or tasks into your digital voice recorder or dictation recorder app and have your files transcribed almost immediately by sophisticated software.
Your finished text files will be sent straight to your inbox.
Basic Business Package
Can be licensed via a 1 or 2-year subscription plan.
