Dragon microphones – They’re a key part of using Dragon speech recognition (by Nuance Communications) successfully. The right microphone can improve accuracy, allow you to dictate away from your desk and promote a better ergonomic setup.
However, setting up the correct microphone to begin using Dragon and how to select a different microphone device are two of the most common queries that our support team gets.
It is pretty simple once you know how, so here is our quick and easy guide to choosing the correct dragon microphone.
Of course, the processes vary with the many different versions of Dragon, so look for your version in the list below and follow the steps accordingly.
Dragon Professional Group and Dragon Professional 16
The process for these versions is very similar, so we’ve grouped the instructions together for you.
However, there is a slight differentiation and that is between the new DragonBar and the classic DragonBar so please follow the steps according to your DragonBar.
