Dictation Modes

The DS 9000 voice recorder has three different modes of dictation. Designed to cater to the different environments that authors experience day-to-day.

Mode 1: Quiet Environment

The omnidirectional microphone records your voice excellently in this mode. In this mode, the device will pick up sound within a 360-degree radius.

Mode 2: Noisy Environment

Both of the microphones that make up the two-microphone functionality are active with the Noise Environment Mode.

In this mode, the second microphone helps filter out the ambient noise to focus on recording dictation speech.

Mode 3: Conference Recording

Conference mode results in high-quality stereo. Recording levels automatically adjust to the loudness of different speakers voice.
