Philips SpeechMike Classic – End of Life!

Our partners over at Philips have confirmed the discontinuation of a specific model of their SpeechMike. Unfortunately, the Classic slider versions of the microphone are now end of life.

As of the 30th of June, the LFH3210 and LFH3220 SpeechMike Classic are no longer available. They will be temporarily available only whilst stocks last.

Following this, The SpeechMike Classic will be completely discontinued and no further devices made.

Alternative Philips Microphones

Don’t worry, there are plenty of other Philips SpeechMike microphones to choose from.

However, if you’re looking for a direct replacement for the SpeechMike Classic then the SpeechMike III G2 (LFH3200/01) is for you.

The device includes the same shortcuts for enabling/disabling the mouse controls and for changing the SpeechMike to/from the SpeechMike 2 mode.

SpeechMike Generation 2 (G2) also has a fixed cable connection. This feature is particularly beneficial for hospital environments and other public areas, as it reduces the possibility of the device being illegally removed from workstations.

The G2 works seamlessly with all integrated software solutions and includes a new firmware update.
