Hi I'm Vicky

My VoicPower journey began in 2010. I previously had a successful career in recruitment and management where I started out as a temp – way back when there weren’t even any computers!

I subsequently worked my way through the ranks to management level until an opportunity came along to buy VoicePower with Sonja. It felt like the perfect opportunity to be my own boss as I was pregnant with my first child; at the time I thought, ‘that must be easy’ – how wrong I was!

During the last five challenging and exciting years, I have enjoyed directing a rejuvenated company to new and greater success alongside Sonja and a wonderful, dedicated team. I feel very proud of our business and what we have achieved in a relatively short space of time and I am very excited about our future.

I am from the north-east and currently live in Durham with my husband John and my daughters Grace and Iris. So, if ever there was an advocate for the speech recognition software it should be me – if it can understand my Geordie twang, it can understand anyone!
